A big relief for Skilled Workers
- Existing salary & Minimum Income Requirements stay till Spring’s rule update.
- Current dependant policies unaffected until spring.
- Skilled workers exempt from £38,700 salary threshold for job switch, extension, or settlement.
As of now, the existing salary and Minimum Income Requirement thresholds, as well as the policies concerning dependents, will stay unchanged until the Immigration Rules are revised in the upcoming Spring.
Individuals already on the Skilled work route, along with those whose applications are submitted prior to the rule modifications, will not need to meet the new salary threshold of £38,700 if they seek to switch jobs, extend their stay, or apply for permanent residence.
